Long-Term Use Case Studies

We demonstrate the skin’s remarkable capacity to recover volume and strength with two case studies:  

• Female, 56 years of age, applied active face cream 1x per day for 2.5 years (ongoing) to both sides of face.

• Male, 54 years of age, applied active face cream 2x per day for 3 years (ongoing) to right side of face only.

Methods 

Photos are taken using a 3D camera that generates its own light.

• Once captured, the images can be rotated for viewing from different vantage points.

• The lighting can be adjusted digitally in both direction (e.g., side, overhead) and intensity.

• Each set of before/after photos has identical lighting settings and vantage points.

• The images can also be shown in multiple modes.

• In natural mode, elevated areas appear lighter and depressed areas appear darker.

• In depth topology mode, indentations are depicted in gradations from purple (deepest) to blue, green, and yellow (shallowest). Areas that are not depressed appear in white.

• In elevation topology mode, elevations are depicted in gradations from yellow (lowest elevation) to green, light red and dark red (highest). Areas that are not elevated appear in white.
